Tuesday 12th January
Almost nothing of merit happened today. It was one of the most straightforward, dull, eventless day of my life. They say never to wish your life away, but this sort of day can fuck off for me.
But; this is as much about looking forward as it is to looking at the present. So; here are some things I’d like to do this year. Hey; some of them might happen.

Go to a music festival: Kind of a long shot this one, as none of my friends like the music I like. Which means not going to festivals. Or standing in a muddy field on my own listening to the above.
Go to more away matches: I really enjoy them. But not as much as some people.
Get fitter, not fatter: I’m going on holiday in May, and I want to be able to take my top off in confidence. Despite my Chewbacca-esque back.
