More snow today. It’s coming down in chunks now, and comparisons are being made with the legendary winter of 30 years ago. It’s just insane now. Please stop it.
Forgot to mention in yesterday’s entry, I watched ‘The Lives of Others’. It’s a quite sensational film. It’s so different from most other films, it layers things slowly, sometimes almost subliminally. The drama comes from the most stationary scenes, a man listening to headphones, waiting in a doorway, sitting at a desk. One of the best films I’ve ever clapped eyes on.
Got the wheel changed on the car, at last. I’m not risking the driving about on the spare as it seems to have been borrowed from baby’s pram. I’ll just have to be chauffeur driven for a while longer I suppose.
