Wednesday 6th January
Woke up in a shit mood. Journey to work was even more precarious than it has been for the last few weeks, due to a fresh snowfall (and more to come). Pretty much hit the diet wall today, but managed to get over it with unflinching willpower. I’m completely exhausted.
A fairly uneventful day, all in all, apart from an unexpected appearance from the spirits of instant karma. I’d heard one of my colleagues had slipped outside on his way to the car park, so immediately (thoughtlessly) fired off a text reminding him that it was slippy out. Of course, as I approached the car park, I almost suffered the same fate. It was a quick reminder not to relish in other people’s misfortune. No matter how hilarious.
